Setting Up at Password By Phone
Before you can begin configuring Password By Phone as a Biller in NATS4, you must register an account through their website. This can be done at http://www.passwordbyphone.com/pbp
When signing up, make sure you record your Affiliate ID and Password, as you will need them later on in the setup process. You must provide Password By Phone with a return URL so they can set up a package ID for you. An example of this is:
http://<linkdomain>/signup/returnurl_php.php
Replace linkdomain in the above example with your linkdomain.
Setting Up Password By Phone in NATS
Billers Admin
To begin setting up Password By Phone in NATS4, go to the Billers Admin. Scroll down to the "Setup New Biller" drop-down menu, select "PasswordByPhone" from the available options, and click Add.
When prompted, fill in your Password By Phone Affiliate ID, Password, and Hash Salt. This information must be obtained directly from Password By Phone. After you have filled out the required fields, click Save.
Sites Admin
Next, go to the Sites Admin and create a new tour or edit an already existing tour that you wish to associate Password by Phone with. On the next page, scroll down to the "Biller Details" section. There will be two options for Password By Phone here:
- PBP Layout
- PBP Package

Setup banners by following Password By Phone's directions, but add &nats=### to their javascript call. Replace ## with a NATS code. Linkcodes codes can be found at the end of link codes. To add the NATS code by variable, use {$nats_code} on your join template or <?=$_REQUEST['nats']?> on any other page.
Password by Phone Notes
When checking your stats at Password by Phone, please note that the PID is also known as the Member ID in NATS. This will help you reference transactions.
